Ivonne Kani is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the power of narrative in various audio-visual medium such as fiction film, documentary and installation. Her installation "Pindahin!"is part of the Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design 2023 exhibition. As creative worker, she has directed commercials and content for brands such as Gojek and Wuling.

 

Ivonne's short documentary film 'Generasi Sekian' (2015) has been screened at FFD and Arkipel. She was part of Asana Bina Seni 2023, a program to develop young artists by Yayasan Biennale Yogyakarta. In 2025, she joined EFM DocToolbox as one of the cohort.

Currently shes's working on her project, "Me, Mother Favorite Monkey", a feature-length documentary project developed at Open Table 2023 organized by In-Docs and has been pitched at Docs by The Sea, CCDF and DocEdge Industry New Zealand.
