Development sometimes does not take place in areas that are sterile from existing life. Local residents already have a history in the prospective development area.

They must be relocated for land conversion because the place where they live is considered to have more value when it is built for something new, whether it is an economic center, tourism, government, or even the national capital. By moving them from where they have been living, it also robs them from their activities and livelihoods. Sometimes the relocator does not pay attention to how the residents adjust to the new place.

In the installation Pindahin! we simulate visitors as citizens who also have the power to work together, helping to relocate the capital, by taking part in dislocating the existing residents in the mock-up built with plasticine and lego characters. â€‹

The removal process is organized like a game with the presence of SPG (Sales Promotion Girl) as part of the performance activating the work. The SPG will provide narration that the removal is a positive thing, even though it contradicts the fact that we have to remove and relocate things on the land to make room for development. The invitation to relocate made by SPG is also repeated in the jingle played in the installation, as the process of building perceptions using mass media sometimes contradicts the reality found on the ground.

This work emerged from the artist's own surprise regarding the move of the national capital that took place in 2024. This made her wonder if the same lack of awareness would also happen to the visitors of the exhibition.
